Why I wanted weighted bracelets that look like jewelry

I never really understood why strength training accessories had to be so masculine. And ugly.
Weighted accessories were useful, but far from being "desirable objects."
So I wanted to create the opposite: weights you'd want to wear, like jewelry, even outside of a workout session.
Metallic (silver and gold for the first references) naturally imposed itself.
An accessory that says "I'm working out," but could also live in a jewelry box.
The champagne color, on the other hand, exploded after QVEMA. It became THE Maison Athlē signature overnight. Customers asked for it, boutiques and media teams spotted it. And it ended up in the Kardashian family's Holiday Gift Guide last year.
Result: champagne weighted accessories = a real bestseller.
